Although I am rather conservative in my
preference for style in fantasy art,
this artist has captured me for a long
time and I didn't even realize it.
According to Meilin, she started drawing
in 1995 as a result of a desire to make
web buttons for her homepage. She wished
to make images for role-playing game
webpages which was the main impetus that
kept her drawing. She then, as she puts
it, started modifying photos for rpg's
which snowballed into a Photoshop
addiction.

I am very sure you all recognize Meilin's
"A Sidhe Named She." I have always
wanted to use this image on my webpages
but never knew who to credit, so I
refrained. I've seen her many times
in the so-called "public domain", never
credited. To all of my fellow Spirit
Fairys and friends who use this image
please give credit where it is due now
that you know and write to Meilin for
her permission to use her. The following
pieces are composities from definition
not completely from scratch with the
exception of "A Sidhe Named She" who is
completely free-hand from scratch!

According to Meilin, this is a small baby
fire angel, who in their adult form,
closely resemble a huge bright red,
man-eating praying mantis They are
shapeshifters, who evolve several different
times. I believe I've had a few of these
in a litter or two of my female Persians
and for that reason, I could NOT resist
including him with the fae above!
